Welcome to the Trenton AOH Pipe Band’s home on the web. We hope you will find the site both a interesting and informative look into our band and the folks who make it work.

Who We Are

The band, in its current configuration is dedicated to continuing the tradition of performing Celtic music on the Highland Bagpipe to the best of our abilities. To that end we meet each week to practice known tunes and to work on new ones. New students are always welcomed, whether a beginner or experienced musician.

In the short time since Dale Owens has taken over as Pipe Major we have increased our repertoire and improved on our sound. The band has also brought in an instructor to work with how we perform/look on the street.

Although a relatively young band, we’ve been very successful booking parades and events. Funds raised by these performances are used to pay for instruction, equipment and outfitting our members.

We all take being the in band seriously; it’s a commitment that we put a lot of time and effort into. It pays off in the end though. This extended family always finds time to enjoy themselves, whether it’s at the hall after practice or at the end of the parade route.

If you think you’d like to learn the bagpipes or drums (snare, tenor or bass) stop by the hall any Monday night. We’d be happy to spend time with you answering any questions and discussing what you need to get started. Basically a desire to learn and the time to practice … the lessons are free!
